Elsabe van Wyk, trained as a clinical psychologist in South Africa in 1994, later served as a university lecturer and psychologist for six years. Relocating to Whakatane in 2000, she deeply respects and continually broadens her understanding of Māori culture.
Elsabe is particularly passionate about bereavement work, finding it a privilege to assist others through their losses.
She also addresses burnout, depression, pain, anxiety, and stress. Elsabe's approach is individualized, ensuring every person, family, or couple receives tailored care. Her Whakatane-based practice offers a confidential, non-judgmental environment for individuals to navigate their challenges, though she also conducts sessions across New Zealand.
