Melanie is passionate about supporting children and their families and enhancing parent -child/family relationships through difficult times and challenges. Melanie has over 25 years’ experience in social services and the health sector. She has previously worked for hospice developing and delivering services for parents and children with life threatening illnesses and has provided bereavement therapy.
Melanie holds a BSc (Hons)degree in Applied Social Science and post graduate qualifications in Child Centered Play Therapy, Theraplay (attachment-based therapy) and Filial Family Therapy. Melanie is an approved therapist for ACC sensitive claims and Victim Support.
